We were saddened by the news that George is no longer with us. We will especially remember George as the kind and warm person who went out of his way to make us Danes feel most welcome on our many visits to Liverpool. George was the epitome of hospitality always willing to guide us Danes around the many exiting sceneries of Liverpool. With George being the most dedicated Liverpool FC supporter we have also fond memories of discussing football at length with George. We know that his love for Liverpool FC was only surpassed by his love for his family. Our thoughts will therefore be with George’s wife Linda and family during this challenging time. Rest in peace George. With deepest sympathy and love.
